Metairie Bank & Trust Names Gennaro As Its Top Commercial Lending Officer

Metairie Bank announces the appointment of Michael “Mike” A. Gennaro as Chief Commercial Lending Officer. Mike brings to Metairie Bank over 25 years of local banking experience having begun his career with Hibernia National Bank in 1988 as a credit analyst where he rose to become Director of New Business Development and Portfolio Manager.  He left Hibernia/Capital One in 2010 and joined Whitney Bank, where he also excelled in business development within the Commercial Banking division. Mike is a Metairie native and a Rummel and UNO graduate. He and his wife Debbie have two grown children, Angela and Vincent, and reside in Metairie. Mike brings a wealth of lending experience and an impressive understanding of the local banking market to Metairie Bank.
